After a long journey from their Scandinavian homesteads, crossing the Atlantic Ocean and most of the North American continent to get here, the majestic Viking Ship Naglfar sailed onto the playa, an unproportional number of Balunsian vikings poured off it and permeated Black Rock City. They spread their unbalanced beliefs and dreams channeling the berserk energy and love of life given to them by the great god Oden. When the Viking Chieftan Snorre Trååkbane dies due to an accidental moment of balance, his followers celebrate his life and death with a big Balunsian ritual burial of their beloved leader, with his body being placed on the ship, and sacrificially set on fire.

Naglfar is the Swedish & Danish CORE project, an homage to our heritage and a unifying project for the Nordic Burner communities.
